My name is Luis Artavia, I was born in Costa Rica surrounded by great poverty until the age of 15.

My mother instilled Christian values into my life that help me navigate through the teen years as I walked away from God. At the age of 16 years, we moved to Houston, Texas whereby changing the people that I hung out with God produced a change in my life.

The burden in my heart is for the less fortunate of this country, Costa Rica. I firmly believe that God’s love is not only shown in sermons but in deeds giving bread to the hungry, clothes to the needy. Those acts of love make Jesus real to someone.
